on I am going to Pakistan for my summer vacation. I’m going to meet my cousins and grandparents. I am so excited! My last school day is June 2nd (this Friday) and I am leaving on June 4th. It is going to take around two days to get there! I will probably stay outside a lot and go to the parks to play soccer, but the weather might not let me. It is really hot, the day I am getting there it will be 43°! It will take some time getting used to the hot summer. But hopefully I can still go outside. I get rashes on my knees and elbows because of hot weather, so my mom might not let me go outside much. Overall, I think it will be a fun summer and I am definitely looking forward to it.
on I am really looking forward to the winter vacation! I am not going anywhere this year. I will probably just put my pajamas on and drink hot chocolate by the fireplace. I also will watch a lot of Netflix and a lot of TV! It’ll be nice to just relax and hang out with my family.
on The Day of the Dead is celebrated in Mexico and in Latin America. It is not a sad event. It is to honor and celebrate the lives of loved ones. It is celebrated on November 1st and the actual celebration is on November 2nd. Some of there ways to honor loved ones are, that they put flowers at there graves (specifically marigolds) and give each other candy skulls (also known as Calavera). Some people stay up all night telling stories about loved ones and honoring them. The Day of the Dead is celebrated in cemeteries.
on Hi, it’s Abeer. I went to Calgary in the summer! It was really fun. We went to the Telus Spark museum. We got to do all types of experiments and fun stuff. They’re was stuff about electricity and light. They even did shows where the staff would do experiments and blow up stuff. It was really fun! They had a playground outside where you had to climb up a bunch of rope and when you got to the top it’s was really high. And then you go down the huge slide. I wish I could go again! Then me, my brother and my dad went to the Chinook center. It was bigger than the malls in Regina. One thing I noticed in Calgary was that there was way more traffic, but it wasn’t slow traffic, it was fast traffic. Another thing about Calgary is that there were way more hills and mountains. So it was fun seeing the ski resort’s. It was really fun. That was what I did in Calgary.(And of course I went to IKEA).
on The best day of my life was June 6th,2015. It was the day that Barcelona played Juventus in the UEFA Champions League final. Its a tournament that features the best teams from each European country. Barcelona got to the final and had to play the Italian club Juventus. The first goal came from Barcelona’s Rakitic in the 4th minute, a great team play goal. All the Barcelona players touched the ball during that play. The 2nd goal came from Morata from Juventus in the 55th minute. Then just 13 minutes later, the 3rd goal came from Suarez. Barcelona took the lead and then added to it 30 minutes later when Neymar scored. The game ended as 3-1 for Barcelona. I was the happiest boy alive. That was the best day of my life! 
on Hi, my name is Abeer! I am a huge sports fan, my favorite sports are basketball and soccer. My favorite teams are FC Barcelona (soccer),and the Toronto Raptors (basketball). My favorite school subjects are math, language arts and Phys.ed. When I go home I like to watch TV and movies. Me and my brother watch horror movies together. I also play on my laptop and watch YouTube videos. I also like playing on my iPhone. I like going to the park and playing basketball. That is everything you absolutely NEED to know about me.
